    Olde Langhorne Harvest Day (Sat until 3pm; Maple and Bellevue Avenues close), Newtown's Halloween Parade (Sat, 9am), home soccer vs. St. Mary's, and the last weekend of Historic Langhorne's ghost tours.
  • Dec 4–6
    Langhorne Dickens Night (Fri, 6–9pm on Bellevue Avenue), Newtown's Holiday House Tour (Sat) and Holiday Parade (Sun, 12:30pm).
  • Dec 25–31
    The 250th anniversary of Washington's crossing (reenactment Dec 25, noon–3pm, Washington Crossing Historic Park) and Patriots Week in Trenton (Dec 26–31). Expect big crowds.
  • May 7–8
    Finals end Friday, then Commencement (Sat, 10am, Mason Activity Center). The campus's busiest weekend: book restaurants early.

Getting around

Trains, buses & parking

SEPTA Regional Rail: Langhorne station on the West Trenton Line is about a 7-minute walk from the Manor Avenue entrance (down Bellevue Avenue). Center City Philadelphia is about 50 minutes away: trains run about hourly on weekdays (more often at rush hour) and every 2 hours on weekends.

Buses: SEPTA routes 14 and 130 stop at Bellevue & Park Avenues, a few minutes' walk from campus (no 130 on Sundays). Route 14 runs to Oxford Valley Mall and Sesame Place.

New York: drive about 20 minutes to Trenton Transit Center and take NJ Transit, or ride SEPTA bus 127 there from Oxford Valley Mall (no Sunday service).

Parking: visitors park in Lot E (Visitor Parking) by the library. Parking on the neighborhood streets around campus isn't allowed.

Core Creek Park & Lake Luxembourg

1,200 acres about 10 minutes' drive from campus (901 Bridgetown Pike): trails, fishing, tennis and the lake, open dawn to dusk. Kayak and boat rentals reopen in the spring.
